The Olive-Tree Bed and Other Quests

University of Toronto Press 1997
Dedicated to IRENE SLOAN, GEORGE MARTIN – “and all who guided my steps”.
In 1951-52, Father Lee was taught Virgil at the University of Toronto by Professor Donald Oakley Robson . In his will, Professor Robson made provision for classical lectures to be given, from time to time, by a distinguished scholar – and then published. This book is based on the fourth in the series of published Robson Classical Lectures.
